Business Problem

Healthcare professional retention has become a national area of focus with the pandemic. A large healthcare provider system needed help realizing their vision of utilizing technology-based process improvements to help address this issue with its clinicians.

Approach

Forum was engaged to bring together software development, labor management, workforce analytics, and clinical stakeholders across the entire organization. Forum led the multi-disciplinary team to gain traction on identifying and implementing technology-driven solutions to optimize clinician time for patient care. A pilot was conducted with the new solutions to test and refine the improvements.

Results

​The team gained traction on technology development and improved management of a pilot phase, in preparation for scaling the improvements organization- wide.
